I’m sure you’ve all heard about Hulu.com. Well, if you don’t have an invite like the rest of us unwashed masses, you’ve been either randomly clicking on this clickable list of all 1800 videos or using this excellent site to browse through all the (2000 now) videos.

Well, I’ve been extremely bored at work, so I’ve been browsing through the videos using premity.com’s excellent script. I’ve catalogued a bunch of the videos that I’m interested in. This list was originally just for personal use so I’d have a reference if I ever wanted to watch an episode of something here at work but the list became so extensive, I thought it might be useful to others. Sorry I wasn’t bored enough to catalog everything, so there are only a few select shows on this list.

Your friendly neighborhood WDS blogger, Clarence (that’s me) and everybody’s favorite WDS fangirl, Ann, were featured in an article today on Spin.com. Now when I say featured, I mean the article contains a couple of awkward pictures of us, our names, ages, occupations and a couple of quotes. For nobodies like us, that’s a big thing.

We were approached by Spin.com while waiting to get into the sold-out LCD Soundsystem show Friday night. I guess we just looked the right amount of bored and stylish for them to pick us out of the crowd. We tried to look apathetic and cool for the pictures, but unfortunately we were giddy as hell and couldn’t wipe those stupid smirks off our faces as we posed.

It looks like we were internet celebrities for a hot minute. This beats the time we were featured in a Gawker article.

By the way, in case anybody’s wondering, the show was freaking awesome.

The Dilbert Blog, et al.

Good morning fellow internet monkeys. If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering how the recently passed three day weekend lasted only approximately 87 minutes. I’m not sure either, but I can’t shake the feeling that we all got space-time dimensionally screwed. Somebody out there is laughing their ass off.

Luckily, my day has been brightened by the discovery of The Dilbert Blog. Sure, we all love Dilbert–especially those of us imprisoned in the cubicular cells of corporate slavery. You can only imagine what Scott Adams could write if he wasn’t confined to his usual three-square medium. Yes, you’re right: articulate hilarity. Wow, I couldn’t have put that better.

Here is a tidbit to whet your appetite:

I opened my web browser today and noticed a story about a man in Oregon who was snorkeling in a river and got shot in the head because some other guy thought he was a rodent.

There is nothing funny about being shot in the head. Unless you were snorkeling in a river and someone thought you were a rodent.

Hilarious.

In other news, Jerry and I went to Southpaw yesterday where we saw Ra Ra Riot, Malajube, and Snowden. Here are my five-word reviews for each band.

Ra Ra Riot: Hot cellist, but possibly underaged.
Malajube: French canadians are funny. OOMEED.
Snowden: Didn’t care enough to stay.

And that my friends, is why I write for WDS and you don’t. PS, I’m told Jerry will post a video of Malajube performing Etienne-something or other. Keep your eyes peeled! (Figuratively, of course)

That’s right, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Book 7 of the legendary Harry Potter series is set to be released on July 21, 2007. As I’m sure all of you die-hard Harry Potter fans know, this is the last book of the series. I think it’s about time seeing as Harry isn’t a kid anymore (Warning! NSFW images of Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays Harry in the movies. Watch out! He’s almost naked!)

Anywaaaay… Amazon.com has a lowest pre-order price guarantee at the low, low price of 18.89. Not too shabby considering the MSRP of $34.99. I think I’ll be pre-ordering my copy so as not to run into any parking lot spoilers on launch night.

Lindsay Lohan: Actress, Singer, Writer?

Lindsay Lohan has taken it upon herself to clean up the media world. At least I think that’s what her aim is. In a recent email (sent from her Blackberry) detailing her mission statement she urges all her peeps to join the struggle and fight the man. I mean, she has “such an impact on our younger generations, as well as generations older than [her].”

Let’s read it shall we?

Subject: The way of the future-Howard Hughes once said. I am willing to release a politically/morally correct, fully adequite letter to the press if any of you are willing to help. Simply to state my oppinions on how our society should be educated on for the better of our country. Our people. Also because I have such an impact on our younger generations, as well as generations older than me. Which we all know and can obviously see. People are just mean. I am going to proceed with putting LR to court if need be for what she’s done to me. Its my life. I want to live it. People cannot lie and think that it is okay to continue on having done so. Simply because they will do it again to someone else, and that is not alright with me. I have had many ups and downs, as do we all.

But to make false accusations to one girl is unjust in my oppinion. Having said this, I am willing to do anything I need to get my life the way it should be and the way I work for it to be.. And have thus far in my career. Let’s sue the tabloids for saying the things they say. Defamation of character. Amongst other illegal accusations, I will repeat this over and over to make my point. I am not fully aware of what these, again, accusations are, but I am fully and eagerly prepared to learn them. Have harvey and all lawyers help me please. If he is willing. Al Gore will help me he came up to me last night and said he would be very happy to have a conversation with me. If he is willing to help me, let’s find out. Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and Evan metroplis, and John Daur who works with them would be willing, if we just ask. If we just ASK. I’d really like to fix things and refuse to stop on any account for these unintelligent, vulgar people who like to hurt other people. Not just me, but everyone. I’m willing to hold a press conference and I will do anything necessary to do so. In putting an end to ‘these people’ trying to put an end to me and belittle me as well as try to be the demise of me after all I’ve gone through and done at such a young and tender age in a womans life. Its enough already, I’ve had enough and I am going to be the one to make a change. For all of my fellow actors, friends, people I admire and for those I’ve lost in the recent days, years, months. I do believe the focus in the world has misplaced and directed in the wrong directions and I am willing to be the one to help change that and use my celebrity status to move the focalpoint /(s) of the press to the real issues that we have going on as we speak. Anyone that is willing to help and has a family member or friend, even co-worker that is in a position to be involved in any way, shape or form, please contact me, Jenni Muro, Leslie Sloane, Michael Heller, Jason Sloane, Jason Weinberg as soon as you can or are willing. Exclusive: Jay-Z at the United Nations

Today at work, my coworker came in and told me, “Jay-Z is having a press conference at 11 today!” She also told me that she had been talking to one of her security guard friends and he said he would try to get her in. I told her of course that meant that I was coming along as well.

At 10:45, we ran upstairs to the press room where a crowd of UN staffers was already gathering. We quickly ran into a couple of friends. We were soon disappointed to find out that the room was getting too full and they would be closing the doors. Just as the doors closed, a security guard popped her head out and asked everyone who was there first, as she had a few more spots left. A coworker quickly noticed us, and said, “These 3 were here first, and I came right after them.” We were then ushered into the inner sanctum of the United Nations press room.

I must admit, it felt kind of cool being in a real press conference with a real celebrity. I listened, snapped some pictures, and recorded some video. I did feel a little dorkish holding my little Canon digital camera while all the journalists had their giant, professional cameras. But, what the hell, all in the name of “journalism” right? I write for We Don’t Smell!

Reporter flips out on live report

A little before 8 this morning, ace reporter Jodi Applegate flipped out on a live report. The two subjects of the report decided to play a little prank and Ms. Applegate was apparently not amused. She flipped out and started screaming at them on camera. I must say, it provided for some very delicious entertainment:

The report was covering the Neistat Brothers. The Neistat Brothers made a video a couple of years ago chronicling how easy it is to steal a bicycle in New York City. They went on a spree stealing bikes through out the city during rush hour. While many people walk by them, nobody tried to stop them or even call the police. In fact, one guy even offered his advice on how to most efficiently break the chain. The original Neistat brother ‘Bike Thief’ video can be found after the jump.

Happy Father’s Day from PostSecret

Sure we’re a day late. But we don’t post on the weekends. Anyway, PostSecret, the amazing ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard, posted a special Father’s Day update:

PostSecret is updated every Sunday. Sending in a postcard is one of those things I need to do before I die. Or turn 30. Whichever comes first.
