I’m sure you’ve all heard about Hulu.com. Well, if you don’t have an invite like the rest of us unwashed masses, you’ve been either randomly clicking on this clickable list of all 1800 videos or using this excellent site to browse through all the (2000 now) videos.

Well, I’ve been extremely bored at work, so I’ve been browsing through the videos using premity.com’s excellent script. I’ve catalogued a bunch of the videos that I’m interested in. This list was originally just for personal use so I’d have a reference if I ever wanted to watch an episode of something here at work but the list became so extensive, I thought it might be useful to others. Sorry I wasn’t bored enough to catalog everything, so there are only a few select shows on this list.

Also, here are all the movies available so far:

Google Spreadsheets! Nerdy, Very Nerdy

In case you haven’t noticed the mini nav that google added to gmail, here it is in all it’s glory.

You’re all probably familiar with Google, Gmail, and the semi useful Calendar. However, may not be familiar with Google Spreadsheets*.

It wasn’t until a few weeks ago, when playing email tag with a group of friends, that I discovered how useful Google Spreadsheets can be. Google Spreadsheets made it very easy for us to share ideas/vote on a destination for our yearly ski trip. Basically you create a spreadsheet put a bunch of info (like nerdy graphs/charts) in it and share it with a bunch of your friends. Also, Google recently updated Spreadsheets to allow for public sharing with the whole world. Here is an example.

Now go and organize events with ease! (or not) Hopefully you will find it as useful as I have.

I didn’t check my RSS reader for 3 days. I had a little free time today so I thought I’d sit down and catch up. There were a whopping 572 unread articles. Lucky for you, I’ve waded through all of them and brought you only the most interesting articles. So please excuse this (not so) short entry. And to kick it off, here’s a heart-breaking picture of Andre Agassi:

That just breaks my heart. With 60 titles under his belt, Agassi walks off the court after his last professional match amidst a champion’s ovation.
Google got it in it’s head that it wants to improve its Google Images search. Rather than pore over the millions of indexed photos by themselves, they elicit the help of the unwashed masses. But how to get the public to do your work for you? Turn it into a game!

Harry Potter fans discover a continuity error that will be fixed in the next edition–illustrating that they have no lives. No news there.
iTunes to have movie downloads for $14.99 this month. I think that’s stupid. I wouldn’t pay $14.99 for iTunes-resolution video. That also better not be the only Apple news announced on September 12. I want those freakin’ Meroms in the MacBooks.

McDonald’s, being the ever-responsible-corporate-entity that they are has redesigned their McFlurry cups so that hedgehogs can’t get their heads stuck in them anymore. Who knew that was a problem? I can’t wait until McDonald’s makes their cups so small that humans can’t get obese from them anymore. HA!

Wikipedia has a massive 14 megapixel shot of San Francisco in ruins after the 1906 earthquake. And this was before digital imagery. It’s simply… breathtaking.
Do you remember this commercial? I swear, it brings me back to my living room all those years ago as a wee little lad…

The “Best” Magic Card Trick in the world

Instructables has a great tutorial on the “best” magic card trick in the world. I don’t know if it’s the best, but it sure is a good one. I hate learning card tricks because you have to trick out the deck for like an hour beforehand and then you need to do all these sleight-of-hand tricks. I’m too lazy for that shit. I just want something where I can pick up a pile of cards, and wow ~~the panties off~~ the women.

This trick is great because it doesn’t take much setup time, and it’s fairly easy to pull off. And damnit, it just looks awesome. Check the how-to after the video

Shell Extensions!

There are times that I want to see hidden files and there are times that I don’t. I usually toggle between showing/hiding hidden files to copy some application data to another computer or backup some settings. For the longest time I would go through the annoying steps in the Folder Options -> View menus and check,uncheck the options.

Well, no more! Here are some handy shell extensions that will add options to your context menu (right click) in Windows Explorer and make life a lot easier for you! There’s also some other cool shell extensions that may be useful to you.
