TMX Elmo like you’ve never seen him before!

I managed to get a couple of TMX Elmos last week. Yes, that’s right. A couple. That, in itself, is entry-worthy. But that’s not the point of this entry. (By the way, if, for some reason, you don’t know what a TMX Elmo is, check out our previous coverage.)

I had a little trouble bringing the Elmos back to work–they had to go through security. First, an inspection of the boxes I did not want opened. This was followed by a trip over to the x-ray machines. As they were going through the machine, I took a little peek at the monitors. It didn’t bode well that Elmo was filled with circuits and wires. The security guard took a snapshot and told me they’d have to bring in the bomb-sniffing dogs. Great.

As we were waiting for the dogs to arrive, I thought to myself, those x-rayed Elmos look pretty badass; that would make for a great entry on WDS. I took the opportunity and asked the guard if I could snap a couple of pictures of the monitors. He laughed and said, “Sure.” So here you are: TMX Elmo like you’ve never seen him before.

I can’t help but wonder what the TSA would think of Elmo.
