We’re pretty sure this is a joke but it’s funny enough to warrant a post. :D

Dr. Amir Khadim, M.D., Ph.D., a “pioneer in the field of LASIK surgery,” has developed a new product/company called LASIK@Home. Instead of paying about $1000 per eye to have a skilled professional in a doctor’s office perform this surgery on your eyes (which aren’t really that important if you really think about it), you and your clutzy self can do it from the comfort of your very own (roach-infested) home. Sounds like a winner to me!

Seeing as how your average American can’t get his VCR DVD player to stop blinking 12:00, I don’t see how they can be expected to perform such delicate surgery on themselves. Lawsuits anyone?
